From Client to Project Manager at IA

With over thirteen years in talent acquisition, compliance, and transformation, Jesika brings a practitioner's depth to HR work. As a Project Manager with IA, she draws on experience leading complex transformation programs at organizations like WEX and Bobcat Company, with expertise in process optimization, HR compliance, and stakeholder alignment - combining the structure of an Agile HR Certified Practitioner with a grounded sense of how change lands across an organization.

Some teams you work with. Others you find yourself wanting to join. IA has always been the second kind for me, and I’m excited to officially become part of the team as a Project Manager.

That excitement comes from a career that’s followed one consistent thread, no matter the title on my badge: helping people do their best work through better systems, clearer processes, and thoughtful change. From talent acquisition and compliance to complex HR transformation initiatives, I’ve been drawn to work that brings structure to ambiguity, improves the user experience, and helps teams move forward with confidence.

I tend to gravitate toward the messy parts of a project – the handoffs nobody’s mapped, the workaround everyone’s tolerating, the process that technically works but quietly frustrates the people using it every day. Untangling that is where I do my best work.

What energizes me most is seeing the impact of my work. The payoff I care about most is momentum. A leader making a faster call because the data’s finally organized, a team moving through a rocky change because the communication was clear, a workflow that stops eating an extra hour of someone’s day. That’s the kind of progress that makes the work worth it.

I’m particularly excited by opportunities to improve systems, strengthen workflows, and create experiences that make work better for people. I care deeply about user-centered design, thoughtful change management, and the ripple effect better systems can have across teams, organizations, and communities.

Joining IA feels especially meaningful because I’ve experienced the team’s work from the client side. I saw firsthand the impact IA can make. It is practical, intentional, and grounded in care for both people and outcomes. That experience gave me a strong appreciation for IA’s thoughtful, people-centered approach and reinforced why this opportunity feels like such a natural fit.

I was looking for a team that is deeply invested in its work, values the strengths each person brings, cares for each other, and ties it all together with some fun and joy wherever possible. I’ve found that with IA and look forward to the new experiences, challenges, places, and people that this journey will bring!
