It feels like both a homecoming and a new adventure to introduce myself as the newest member of IA, where I will be leading Project and Program Management both internally and in support of our clients. My career has taken me through industries, disciplines, and geographies, all of which have shaped my approach to program leadership today. I’m excited to bring that perspective to the exceptional work IA is known for.
My career journey has taken me from the Nashville and Bay Area music scenes; where creativity, unpredictability, and fast-paced problem solving were daily expectations; through technology roles at Tyco Electronics and Cisco Systems, and eventually to international consulting in Tanzania. Each step taught me something essential: the music business showed me how to adapt quickly and deliver under pressure, my years at Cisco (starting at the helpdesk and working up to leading Collaboration IT projects) sharpened my skills in service delivery and complex execution, and three years consulting with Tanzanian retail and hospitality businesses deepened my appreciation for cultural intelligence and universal business fundamentals.
This diverse background led me to Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB), where I spent six years building and leading the Project Management Office, work that held deep personal meaning as a Cherokee Nation citizen. During this time, I earned a master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics and a master’s level certificate in Project Management, focusing on the organizational behavior and change management elements that truly differentiate successful projects. After CNB, I joined Compass, first leading their PMO and later stepping into Talent Management, which reinforced my belief that successful project outcomes are inseparable from strong teams and intentional leadership.
Now, I am honored to join IA, a firm I have long admired. As a client, I experienced first-hand their thoughtful methodology and sustainable outcomes. IA didn’t just deliver; they left us better positioned for long-term success, inspiring me to join their team.
At IA, I look forward to partnering with clients facing complexity, transformation, and ambitious goals. My approach is pragmatic, people-centered, and grounded in disciplined execution. Whether building a PMO, turning around troubled programs, or designing scalable processes, my goal is to leave clients with structures that continue to deliver value long after our work concludes.
Program and project management are often seen as purely technical, but I believe they are catalysts for clarity, alignment, and empowerment. It’s about more than delivering on time and on budget; it’s about enabling organizations to thrive.
My core values center on alignment, relationships, and governance. You can deliver a project, but without team alignment, success feels fragmented. Without nurturing relationships, people may disengage. Without clear governance, even strong programs risk losing momentum. These values guide every engagement, ensuring sustainable success.
Beyond consulting, I remain connected to the arts and entertainment world. For 15 years, I have served as Executive Producer of the musical “Nanyehi,” combining my passion for storytelling with my heritage. Each November, I also produce an art market and festival in Tanzania, supporting local artists and entrepreneurs. These ventures continually inspire my professional work, reminding me of the power of vision, collaboration, and cultural richness.
I’m grateful for the experiences that have shaped my career and eager to bring that collective wisdom to IA and our clients. If you are facing change, complexity, or transformation, I’d love to explore how disciplined, people-centered program leadership can help you achieve your vision.
